Amazon Kindle DX - 9 inch black and white ereader with very little space. our black and white Tex looks awesome in this in those days (back in 2000).
Sony Digital Paper DPT S1 - Its the big brother of Kindle DX with 13 inch black and white screen without lighting and could only enable reading pdfs, however was a better one to read all big books (in 2012).
Read my post on Sony Digital Paper here.
Onyx Book - muliple readers also nowadays with eInk Kaledo 3 technology but still Kaledo 3 technology can not produce colors in best, however its the best available eink version when Gallery 3 was not introduced.
PocketBook - muliple black and while and color readers all using eInk Carta and Kaledo 3 technology however all of these are not using Gallery 3.

I stumbled upon Remarkable when one of my collegue carried Remarkable paper to our meeting and it looked very professional, easy to take notes, you can customize if you want to sync it to your personal cloud storage which is fully encrypted making it secure. but still it was somewhere in 2018 and I didnt have any urge to check or test it for my usage.
However with Remarkable releasing its new paper tablet in its line up, I am intrigued to test it how it fairs to my requirements.
Remakable Paper Pro
Surprisingly enough it is too good for the device.
I now introduce Remarkable Paper Pro as my daily companion for
1. Reading Comic books
2. Taking notes, meetings, organizing, idealizing, architecting.
3. It has awaken the artist in me, I had been trying a lot of my own drawings in it.
eInk corporation is the company who manufacture eink displays. The one used by Sony Digital Paper way back in 2012 is also a flexible display meaning that you can fold the display, and advancement of which we see in todays foldable phones.
however I am loving eInk and Remarkable for making Gallery 3 as one of their best eInk displays ever.
All colors are vibrant in it.
just for comparison:
Pocket Book Color eInk Kaledo vs Remarkable Paper Pro eInk Gallery 3
I am still waiting for Onyx Boox to launch a 13 inch Gallery 3 device which will be the best one to use all our Amar Chitra Katha, Tinkle, Bonelli Android Apps to read the books.
The chance of bringing these comic books to new readers of this generation is going to be made possible only if publishers adapt to the digital era and make their works availabe through an app for subsciption like how Sergio Bonelli Editore has done like how our own ACK and Tinkle has done.
Awaiting our Praksh Publishers to follow Bonelli in having atleast the Tex titles available through an Android app.
Note: I heard rumours that Vagam Comics is already planning such with Panini and for Cisco Kid, not sure if it is true.
